Hey folks! Happy 2025, the Year of the Clay.

We at Claymatic Games are brimming with excitement for what this year has in store. It’s been an amazing journey so far and a real privilege to share it with our fantastic community. Buckle up, we’ve got some updates coming your way.

Back in November, we officially announced the return of the much-loved Platypus, remodelled, reimagined and enhanced. Over the next few months we will be revealing what’s new in Platypus Reclayed, from enemies to weapons and modes - stay tuned for sneak peeks, AMAs, dev diaries and tons of clay-based puns as we get closer to launch day. We promise, it’s closer than you might think!

Join our Discord server and follow us on our social media channels for the latest news, events and competitions. We’ve had some serious fun with our super creative community and we’re definitely going to have more!

Our Clodhoppers beta programme has been incredibly helpful for us to refine the players’ experience and inject even more excitement and giggles in the game. We are thrilled to continue evolving this community-driven project and test new things as development progresses. 

Here’s what’s on the horizon:

• Many more crates and the odd fish thrown your way

• More single player content added to the Beta

• Organised play sessions and community challenges

• No doubt a few surprises along the way

We are humbled by the affection our community showed us, their support and creativity. We organised a few competitions and activities last year, we frankly didn’t expect such an overwhelming amount of dedication, and we’ll be exploring more ways to give our fans room to showcase their talents. We are cooking a few ideas but by all means get in touch on Discord or via the General Enquiries form if you have any suggestions.
